Terms & Conditions

Booking Fee
A $100 booking fee applies to confirm all bookings. This booking fee is strictly NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE under any circumstances. If cancellations or changes occur within 48 hours of the appointment time, the deposit will be forfeited. For cancellations or changes outside of 48 hours, the booking fee will be held on file and can be applied to next booking provided it is within 30 days. The deposit will not be refunded and cannot be transferred to another client. We advise clients to book well in advance. Please note that deposits will not be refunded if a suitable time for rescheduling cannot be found.

Confirmation of Bookings

A confirmation message is sent to you via text and email once your booking has been made. To confirm your appointment a booking fee of $100 is charged to your credit card via the secure Fresha SSL payment portal. Mata Wellbeing reserve the right to cancel any bookings that remain unconfirmed.

Cancellations and Changes

Cancellations or changes made within 48 hours of the appointment time will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations or changes made outside of 48 hours will have the deposit held on file for future booking provided it is within 30 days. The deposit will not be refunded and cannot be transferred to another client. An appointment ‘no show’ will incur a full charge or 100% of the appointment fee. Please do not use social media channels to cancel or reschedule your appointments as these are not always reliable or able to be checked when we are with clients. Cancelling an appointment via social media channels within 48 hours of your appointment will be considered an appointment NO SHOW and occur the full cancellation fee

Rescheduling

Bookings can be rescheduled no more than twice within 8 weeks before deposit is forfeited. In cases where rescheduling is not possible due to being fully booked, the deposit will not be refunded. Clients are encouraged to book well in advance to secure preferred appointment times.

No-Show and Running Late

In the event of a no-show, the deposit will be forfeited, and the balance of the booking total must be paid. For clients running late, the deposit will be forfeited, and the balance of the booking must be paid. If more than 15 minutes late for your appointment and the service cannot be performed, no-show terms apply.

Service Adjustments

Any adjustments to services must be communicated at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Refunds

No refunds will be issued for services once they have been rendered. Please contact Mata Wellbeing if you have any concerns.

Children’s Policy

We strive to create a relaxing environment. We kindly request clients to arrange childcare during their appointment.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers must be presented at the time of booking.

Health and Safety / Illness

Clients are responsible for informing Mata Wellbeing of any health or allergy concerns that may affect their services.

If you are experience any flu-like symptoms or are unwell, please contact clinic to reschedule.

Any changes to your appointment can readily be made via the fresha app or the reschedule link on your latest booking notification email, or by calling or texting the clinic directly.

Liability

Mata Wellbeing is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings during the appointment.

Right to Refuse Service

Mata Wellbeing reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including but not limited to inappropriate behavior or health concerns.

Changes to terms and conditions
Any changes to terms and conditions are effective immediately upon updating the website without any further notice.
